This year we are having an online silent auction in conjunction with the in-person gala. The silent auction will open soon and each registered gala guest will receive information via email (if we have your email address.) We will also be sharing the link and online auction information with all of our supporters.

What You Can Expect

How to Bid with Greater Giving Online Bidding

1. Sign-up for online bidding using the "Start Bidding" button on the top right of the Online Bidding page once items open for bidding. 
2. You will be asked to provide your mobile phone number and credit card along with other standard information just as if you were checking-in for an in-person event. Note that if you have created a Greater Giving Online Bidding account for any previous event, you can login using the same username and password - there is no need to create a new account.
3. When an auction section opens, you will receive an automated text and email with your bidder link if you have an online bidding account.
4. After clicking the link you can search for packages by name, number, or category.
5. Select the package you wish to bid on.
6. You can Bid the next increment or Bid More than the next increment or Buy Now!
7. If you choose to Bid More you can choose to set your Max Bid. If your max bid is the highest, the system will automatically bid in your favor in increments until you are outbid or until the auction closes. If your bid is lower than the highest max bid on that package or if you are outbid, you will be prompted to enter a higher bid.
8. To purchase a package at the Buy Now price, select the Buy button. Note that Raffle Tickets are a set-price item so no bidding is necessary.
9. To "watch" a package, select the star icon on the package.
10. To make a donation, select the Donation button on your home screen and choose a preset amount or select the Custom Amount button to enter the amount you wish to donate.
11. If you’re out-bid at any point before the auction closes, you will receive a text message and email as long as we have your information.
12. To view packages you are bidding on, click the menu button and select Bids.
13. To view packages you are watching, click the menu button and select Favorites.
14. Once the auction closes, the guest with the highest bid will win.
15. Under the Bids area you can check your winning packages.
